Ilene Refkin, M.A., C.C.C.
Speech-Language Pathologist
Ilene is the founder and director of I.M. Speech/Language Pathology. She was a member of the doctoral program at the Teachers College at Columbia University, New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology, certified in American Sign Language at the New York Society for the Deaf, and also received a Master of Arts in Speech Pathology at CUNY’s Herbert H. Lehman College. Ilene is certified by the Inter-sign Academy for American Sign Language, trained and certified by the PROMPT Institute.
In addition to her role at I.M. Speech/Language Pathology, Ilene is also a consultant to the Jewish Community Center on the Palisades Preschool in Tenafly, NJ, The Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ, Temple Sinai of Tenafly Preschool in Tenafly, NJ.

Erica Refkin, M.S., C.C.C.
Speech-Language Pathologist
Erica Refkin is a graduate of Rush University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and a graduate of the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society. Erica has worked with the pediatric population both clinically and in an educational setting, and has been at I.M Speech Teletherapy since 2020. Erica has pediatric and adult-centered clinical experience in private practice, hospitals, home care, and skilled nursing facilities.
